Comfort and Clarity for Complex Eyes

Scleral lenses are large-diameter, gas-permeable contact lenses that vault over the entire cornea and rest on the sclera (the white of the eye). The space between the lens and cornea is filled with a sterile saline reservoir, creating a smooth optical surface and a constant moisture bath that dramatically improves comfort — especially for dry eye sufferers.

With over 30 scleral lens designs in our fitting set, we collaborate with two independent specialty labs to ensure your lenses are optimized for your specific corneal shape, prescription, and visual demands.

Indications for Scleral Lenses

  • Keratoconus and corneal ectasia
  • Severe or treatment-resistant dry eye disease
  • Ocular surface disease (OSD)
  • Post-surgical corneal irregularities (LASIK, PKP, RK)
  • High refractive errors with irregular astigmatism
  • Stevens-Johnson Syndrome
  • Graft-versus-host disease

Crisp, Durable Vision Correction

Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lenses are smaller corneal lenses made from durable, oxygen-permeable materials. They provide exceptionally sharp vision — particularly for patients with astigmatism or irregular corneas — and are highly resistant to deposits, making them a hygienic and cost-effective long-term option.

We use state-of-the-art digital corneal topography to precisely map the curvature of your eye, ensuring a lens that fits perfectly, sees clearly, and feels comfortable from day one.

Why Choose RGP Lenses?

  • Superior optical clarity over soft lenses
  • Longer lifespan (1–2 years per pair)
  • Better oxygen transmission to the cornea
  • Ideal for astigmatism and irregular corneas
  • Deposit-resistant surface
